Fergus an tha Stane o Destinie

Fergus an tha Stane o DestinieThis dramatic saga tells the story of the Ulster-Scottish kingdom of Dalriada, and how Fergus from North Antrim became its first King nearly 1500 years ago. Fergus took the Stone of Destiny as his coronation stone with him to Scotland. This stone, and his kingdom of Dalriada, laid the foundation for the modern united kingdoms of the British Isles. Based on local traditions and chronicled legends, the story ends with the tragic death of King Fergus on the rock which bears his name — Carrickfergus.

This exciting tale has been adapted and written in Ulster-Scots by Philip Robinson as a sequel to Esther, Quaen o tha Ulidian Pechts.
